been all sorts of busy lately with work, finding a new job, and even a new girl ;eeky; so sorry i didnt update on my trek to pittsburgh.. me, the vx and the trailer all made it from philly to pittsburgh and back unscathed

at one point i had to pull a 3 point u-turn on a 1-way street in pittsburgh with the trailer.. that was fun

overall it wasnt too bad, with the trailer empty it did bounce an unnerving amount, but the vx handled it well, on a couple of the steep inclines though the mountains i got a bit worried about the trans, but never saw the trans light or anything like that come on, water temp peaked at 208*F so that wasnt too bad either, most of the time it stayed around 185-190.. which is pretty good considering it was like 90-95*F out

i averaged about 14-15 mpg :cryb: but i guess thats to be expected

also loved the new tires, even got compliments on them while in pittsburgh, they handled well, werent too loud at all and look good doin it

lol, thats unbelievable, you guys have such big vehicles over there !!! Glad you made it un harmed, and more importantly without harming the VX :D

I don't think 14-15 mpg pulling that trailer is bad at all.

ryan, nope, just moving donald (guy who came out with us back in january) back in to college at pitt, was only down for the day or i woulda tried to get together with you guys out there, i left downingtown around 9am.. got to pittsburgh around 1pm.. unpacked his stuff, went to the pirates game, left pittsburgh around 11pm and got back here around 3am

Please tell me it was Thursday nights game against the Phillies. If it was, I was there in the second row behind first base! Awesome game BTW.

That is a hell of a round trip!
