I just got some new pets and I thought I would share:

These are the only freshwater stingrays allowed as pets in Texas, because they are native to the Gulf, they actually go freely between salt and freshwater, but are actually found living purely in the freshwater rivers in Florida and are believed to stay their indefinitely and reproduce there as well. They do this by increasing the amount of urine flow by up to 10 times that of the saltwater only stingrays.

That's prolly how I managed to stay in Fl. so long. I managed to immulate
stingrays. Plus i used to drive one( <--- minor TJ oops).

Ryan, about how big are those rays....hard to tell from the video. How big is the tank?
Those are pretty cool.
When down racing in Rocky Point Mexico one year my friend had a ray sting him on the achilles as we waded out to the swim start. After cleaning it up he still raced but his foot was numb almost the entire race. They told everyone to drag their feet to scare the rays away...there was a butt load of them everywhere.

They are still babies, they are only about 5-6" in diameter, but with the tails they are probably 10" or so. The tank is a 120 gallon.
Yeah I hear that sting ray stings are some of the worst. Their barbs are serrated in the opposite direction, so if you pull them out they do worse damage.
