2010 VX Calendar

I know I've been very inactive over the past months, I've been busy with work over the summer... and now classes, Air Force ROTC, and Civil Air Patrol have kept me occupied, but I've been keeping an eye on the forum for the annual (non pin-up) calendar and was wondering if I'd missed it?

I usually head up the standard VX (family/ office friendly) calendar every year, im not sure I will be able to this year, I have so much on my plate already, moving within the next month, have 18 hours of class a week in addition to 50 hours a week at work minimum.. plus a 30 minute commute each way to work and a 1 hour commute each way to school.. ill do what i can but if someone else would like to head up the project this year id be happy to give you advice/ pass the torch

I was actually thinking about this as well. I personally have just too much on my plate right now to get another calendar ready in time. I might have to settle for one of these for 2010.

I would gladly assist in the voting again... buuuut, I would only be able to do just that. I will be sooo busy this month with Family, work and whatever else is thrown at me that I will have just enough time to setup and upload all the photos...

BUT! I wouldn't mind collecting pictures to start off next years 2011 Calendar. This will give us a head start on picture collections instead of waiting the last couple months rushing to get them all in.

I will set up an email account where you all can send the pictures to throughout the entire year. OR set up my voting system for you all to upload the pictures directly to the system...

I am going to get my VX repainted eventually, and I am 90% sure I am going to go with OE Ebony gloss, but a few more photos of that VX might change my mind a little. :thumbup:

We all used different satin lacquers, so they all look little bit different. The only problem is that you can't polish your car anymore (once polished it will become glare).

Just not sure if he registered here, but let him know that you have questions for him. Anyway, you can use me as "proxy" :) between forums. Though, he sometimes disappear from our forum for few weeks, so there may be delays...

Well, I have to say, it is absolutely gorgeous, and so is the satin Foxfire.

HOWEVER, after careful analysis, I think I would rather stick with gloss Ebony because the satin looses that awesome looking contrast between the cladding/hood insert and the body. Either way though :drool2:.

BTW, is the cladding painted also? I can't tell.

Yes, you can wash it without any problem, since it is covered with lacquer (just it is satin and not glare).

And regarding the cladding and hood insert - they looks painted as well (too glare to be natural).

So you have not seen this VX with your own eyes? I would say the cladding looks painted also, just wasn't sure.
