As it is I dont like it. At least paint it black.
Did something look so bad under the bumper he had to hide it? If so, there must be a better way cuz that horizontal picket fence looks awful.

Its always been my dream to own a cute little VX out in the country with a little white picket fence around the bumper.
Take it off and slap the PO :)
Just having some fun with you......Welcome to the forum!

Yeah, that thing's pretty sketchy looking.

The sad thing is that someone probably spent considerable time trimming it to fit, measuring the tail pipe hole precisely, etc. All for a complete waste of effort.
I agree with Anita. :flame:

Btw, it would make this thread much easier to read if you edit your original post and hit [Enter] between each of the pics. That way they go down, not across. Just an FYI.

I don't remember anything unanimous on the forum before. This thread must go on permanent record.
After looking at the pics again, it looks almost like the PO was going for some kind of 'Euro-car' look, not just hiding the hitch.
I think PittVXr said it best.

rip it off, crush it, burn the scrap pile, then bury the ashes and have a priest do an exorcism over the grave
But hey to each their own

Hmmmm - noticed that Marlin hasn't commented yet.
He would want you to keep it - it makes his Frankenstien front bumper look good.:laughing::laughing:
Sorry Marlin, buddy, mate, friend - I will do anything for a laugh.

Best,
LMFAO, ROFLO!!!!!!!! You name a ridiculous online lingo for laughing, I did it when I read that.
Jack, you cannot even put that in the same category as mine...the only way that thing could be better is if it had LEDs in between the strips, and white rims to match....

Oh, I almost forgot, the VX better be lowered in some ridiculous way that greatly increases its offroad abilities...that way if you run through a fence, you can get out and fix it with the spare pickets.

I don't think it's so bad. It just needs to get painted a new color. We need a few not-so-close shots to get the full effect taking in the whole vehicle. It could work in another color.
That VX used to belong to one of our members, FLAVIOVX. He didn't make many posts here. Don't know if you saw a CarFax, but that VX has gotten around. It looks like FLAVIOVX was owner #5. Not the most recent CarFax, but....

The VIN can be figured out with the last four digits and the year, then I Googled it and the CarFax came up on a Russian website. I have no idea what that's about.

Moonrover, you may want to adjust the exhaust tips back a bit as they will probably stick out too far without the fence bumper. It should be easy: cut the exhaust pipes shorter and reattach the exhaust tips.
Thanks for posting, its unbelievable that someone would drive with that on their bumper.
WELCOME to the VX World!!!!!!!

Don't feel bad about it (if you do). I bought mine with 24K on the clock but was still the 4th owner. When I looked up the CF the first owner had only put about 2K miles on it in the first six years (), then the two successive owners had it for a little over a year each and put the remaining 22K on it.
I talked about it with the PO and he said he bought it due to the curb appeal, but in the end couldn't justify keeping such a small vehicle that wasn't too capable of transporting kids. I imagine the previous owner (as well as other owners out there) found themselves in the same predicament, so having multiple short-lived owners seems like it would be a pretty common situation. Yes we have many original owners here, but keep in mind this is an enthusiast site; your public at large probably isn't as obsessed as the rest of us. ;)
