I hate starting a new thread on this but I musta done something wrong. I was doing the rear cargo light like Ldub did towards the end of this thread rear area cargo light. (http://www.vehicross.info/forums/showthread.php?t=16142). But it appears I've made a mistake along the way.
Here's a pic from inside the vehicle with the light on

Notice it really puts out a nice light in the cargo area
here's another from a better angle inside the vehicle
Nicely lit area

However when I open the rear cargo door the cargo area goes dim.

It does however light the ground nicely.

Yep it took me almost 3 weeks to save the total of 7 fiddy. Then four Wal-Marts later I found one of the lights. However I did learn from dub's post and I used 4M velcro tape. Mine is applied with velcro so I can walk around with the light too.
Other than window tint, my first mod.

Handee,
Great job. I'm inspired to do the same. I'm concerned tho that it'll be too bright in my rear view mirror.

See pbkid had even told me he would stand by (as I said in the last "what are you doing to your vx this weekend" post I had hoped I didn't run into any difficulties, cause dub was outta town). But I don't have a computer at home so I tried to do it from memory and I didn't bring pbkids phone # with me. I'm prolly gonna have to leave it since I did remember dub saying the stickum on the back of the light came loose. So I used 4M (stronger than 3M) velcro tape. I will admit it is nice if you wanna see what your cargo looks like before ya load it.
