So I found a place that is willing to sell a '99 silver with 130k miles for $5900. Haven't seen it yet, but they said that's the lowest. I saw another with 78k, but it's farther away and they want 8k. Both claim "VERY NICE CLEAN AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF CLEAN CAR FAX". Should I do it?

Be sure to look them over good, and don't get too antcy. You can find some great deals...
Honestly, $6k is about the going rate for 100k '99s. (That's what I sold my Astral for, and it was in great shape).

so probably not that great of a deal? What about the one that has 78k miles for $8k? If that was a 2000 it would still be under warranty. What's the easiest way to test it out? Should I look underneath too?

No, don't waste your money on duplicate items. Stick with your single VX and be happy. I've found duplication of items are best only when the item is a woman.:yeso:

Hilarious! Ok...my obsession is still to one day make a VXO2 so I didn't want to spend too much on another VX since I'd probably have to put in another $30k to do it right. I'm just worried about if the car would be in good enough condition to handle the modification if it's got 130k. I think it's had 2 owners so I'd hate to put all that money into a VXo2 only to find that it won't run cuz the engine or tranny is shot or something else. Dumb idea? It would look SOOO nice in the next music video!

Good points. I'm leaning towards not getting it cuz the comments make sense. But do you think the cladding, headlights...etc is worth the price? Is this a good price just to have as spare parts?

Search for the thread on the wrecked VX that was recently on eBay. Lots of discussion on how impractical it is to buy a VX to part-out unless the price is REALLY low (as in <$1K).
