After months of jacking with my VX, the only thing left that could POSSIBLY be wrong is the computer. Anyone know where I can buy one? I can send mine out to be rebuilt/refurbed but then not sure about needing to get it flashed......HELP!!!!!!!!

ECM's are on eBay pretty regularly (often titled as "brain") although I can't vouch that they work as true replacement. Have you tried Merlin or isuzuparts.com yet?

This is how we get our PCM programmed for only $55. If ya get a new factory one you need to send it out to this place. If I got a used VX PCM I would still send it out to get flashed for that specific VX, just to be sure. There could be small differences in the tranny controls on different Vehicri, especially from different years.
"If a replacement PCM is installed without appropriate programming, the affected vehicle will not operate properly or it may fail to comply with Federal and State emissions requirements."

This is about how much a new one from an Isuzu parts dealer will cost, then it has to be programmed.

I do have mine from the 2001, do you want to check to be sure it would work first? I still need to ebay a bunch of parts, I try to hold onto anything that 'might' fail.....LOL that would be everything.
kremo, I just responded to your PM
