Nuthin

That's BOY (my son) leaving the DMV with a 'brand-dam-new' learners permit.

Drivin the VX will be a carrot. Keep the grades up, keep the room clean, ..., = drive the VX.

I have 16 more years before I have to worry about that. Although, my 24k mile '03 Eclipse Spyder and 55k mile '99 VX may still be around for me to worry about.

LOL - I have 13 years so it will be a 89 Range Rover or the 1999 VX. By that time, maybe they will both be "vintage classics!!!"

I wanna see what .0001% increase in throttle response gets ya.

ZEUS
10/28/2009, 01:27 PM
Well you already know cuz when you drop your diff brackets the loss of friction gets you .0001% increase in throttle response. And you love that mod so shut up! :D

tom4bren
10/28/2009, 02:09 PM
waita minit.

I only did that mod so I could be more like my Godlike bud Zeus. I kinda liked changing CV boots every 3-6 months.

Of course I didn't pirate an old jeep bumper to getr done.

ZEUS
10/28/2009, 03:12 PM
My brackets are even more aerodynamic than yours so I get better gas mileage too! Not following my design to a T was your 1st mistake! It's ok, not everyone can be the redneck that I am...

No way she's drivin' the VX... maybe on a dirt road in 4L... dry of course.:rollb2:

I may let her use the 318ti but its a little too tightly wound too. Looking for a little 4 banger BMW e30/318 sedan that she can call her own. :yesy:

This promise of a car is a great carrot. Never been a doubt in my mind she'd get a beater car at least but she has no idea. 4.0 Baby!:winky:

OOH! I am thinking about buying my first "car" and am leaning toward an E30 as well. I have found quite a few. I am sick of car payments and want something more economical than the trucks type things I'm used to.

I'm thinkin Pinto or maybe Gremlin for you son. A Corvair or a Carmen Ghia might also suit you.

Actually before I decided to by my VX I was looking at Corvairs and thought about a Ghia.

Yeah, even Barbie has one of those too right? :p Hey anyway, the cars I mentioned are at least able to look cool. E30's have proven to be a very reliable cars even today with 200,000 miles on them. Plus I can drift it! :) I am thinking mine should be a satin black sleeper. If I find a rough one, big deal, I'll just gut it and rhino line the inside. :yesgray: Found one for $700 near me. I need to get rid of 3 or 4 vehicles first tho. You don't really think the car I would own would be smooth and cute...

Jensen Healey cheap little 2 seater British convertible with a real motor a 907 Lotus, For more oomph you can jump up to the Jensen Intercepter same car with a hard top and a Chrysler 318. Friggin land rocket

I don't really think smooth or cute fits ya. I'm thinkin an E30 sleeper would fit ya fine....satin black and rhino lined interior. I once had a BMW 635i cpe with a 351 Cleveland, now that was a sleeper.

I do change my mind every month tho as well so who knows what I'll do... :o
