Yes, two more would look better. However, two mounted just like that on a certain Proton would look cute, especially around Easter time.

YUCK! Sorry, but me no likey at all. It looks like Mickey Mouse - they are about 5" too big. My lights look great to me but they are tiny, so maybe I have bulbis envy?

Still too big. I have been keeping my eyes on those lights as well, but I was going to put them on my frankenstein bumper gen 2. I will be working a new bumper this winter.

2 things....
1- how did you hook a 110v extension cord to a 12v light? please tell me you had some sort of inverter......

2- IMHO, if you had mounted the lights IN FRONT of the roof rack instead of on top of it, would of looked MUCH more integrated and aggressive instead of out of place. look into my gallery for what i mean...(wow, not to sound conceited but its the best example i can think of)

i would post em, but it wont let me from work

ZEUS--- x2.

Very impractical mounted in that location!!! With the lights mounted high on top of the roof they will totally "fill-in" any deep potholes with solid light, thereby blending the potholes with the rest of the road surface. You won't notice any potholes until you actually hit them with your VX (way too late). All off-road driving lights are best mounted at bumper level, so they cast a "dark shadow" over impending potholes so you can avoid hitting them in advance.

Further; I bet your MPG is gonna' really suck with those big "wind-catcher" lights mounted up high like that (very poor aerodynamics), plus they just look like crap way up there.

A much better idea would be to get the Westin License Plate "Longhorn Bull" Light Bracket (just do a "search"), and mount the off-road lights near license plate level (better light dispersion, better aerodynamics, better "look", and easier installation for wiring).:yeso:

Well Kat, I hope it was while hubby (or boyfriend) (or both) was nearby, and he got a bit of mouth to mouth resuscitation in before you recovered.:thumbup::slap:

Slutty, don't let anyone discourage you.....go for it!
Plus if they ever do another like "Christmas Vacation" movie
You're VX is a shoe-in to be Clark Griswalds ride.
I can see it now, pulls up to the Grand Canyon at night and lights the whole thing up.

I also can see a certain Proton with a pair of those lights with black lens covers and a white fluffy cover over their spare tire. I bet even Achmed would show up in a bunny suit.

Man if Truly Nolen sees a Vx like that, the price of a Proton is gonna skyrocket..1st the taxi companies and now pest control.

And I really do like the lights Slutty. so much for the TJ.

I usually wait till a thread has run it's course before a major TJ. Since Handee is so adamant about dragging me into this however ...

PPPHHHTTTT!!!!!

and for good measure:

:slap:

BTW slutty - it looks fine. Ya may want to rig up a cupla hot dog forks in front of those lights tho. You could cook dinner as you go down the trail.
