A stretched Elise? Cool... I think the Elise is the greatest platform. Performance go-cart... electric performance go-cart... now long wheelbase extremely crazy go-cart! Awesome.

So, when are they going to build something fast?:rotate::laughing:

On a side note...was watching hot rod tv the other day and they had the wyotech drag car on there. 1500hp+ 4-cylinder!;eeko;

Very cool.

The Isuzu dealer I took my VX to yesterday had a Spyker in the showroom...built in The Netherlands and only $225K, what a deal!

Cool, minus the "looking like a Lotus" bit.

Odd choice to put the exhaust flow at that elevation. They will NEVER get street tags in any state. I suppose it's strictly a show car (face it, one off builds like that see the track once after they are dyno'd and then put away, heh).

I'd !@#$ it. ;)

A stretched Elise?

x2, that's what it looks like to me as well.

I think the best spec was: Curb Weight: 2395 lbs Gotta love the aluminum space frame & carbon fibre body panels; i don't know about the wheels though. I've seen pedal bikes crack apart their CF wheels.

CF wheels would make me seriously regret buying this car... just as I careen into the guard rail at my local race track because my inside rear tire disintegrated due to the extreme torque and downforce generated by the car....splat.

I'd rather have magnesium wheels and pay the extra 6 pound weight penalty, maybe take it out of the driver's midsection via liposuction..

You would be very surprised at how strong CF is if it is engineered right.

I wonder if we'll see it on TopGear? Hmmm, Lotus is going to sue somebody!:p

Was wondering the same thing...especialy after seeing the Noble M600 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpgehZZHMcI&feature=related)on there last night.:yesy:

Easy one that. It'll be Lotus, Prodrive, "whatever TWR is called these days" or similar who are doing the actual development work. There's also the fact that if a car is engineered for the UK roads then it will work pretty-much anywhere.
