The VX took me on another great adventure today!

[Triathlete]

Met up with a big group of local friends/wheelers today and took a nice trip out to Chivo Falls. I have made this trip numerous other times But the seasonal falls were flowwing nicely this time with the rescent weather we have had. Went out with several Jeeps, 'Yota's and a full size Bronco. The VX represented well. Took all the harder lines with no problems. Some of the others were not so fortunate. One Jeep hydrolocked in a water crossing (after pulling the plugs and getting it all dry'd out it sputtered back to life). While we were fixing the Jeep another group of Jeeps came by...the last one went throuogh the crossing, hydrolocked, breaking at least 2 rods which were protruding through two large holes in the oil pan...ouch! Later a Rubicon in our group broke a front u-joint rendering it 2 whell drive for the rest of the trip.And then as we neared the falls the Bronco got a little heavy on the skinny pedal and got off the edge of the trail nearly rolling. Didn't get any wheeling pics (hopefully I will get some from the others) since I was driving and solo. But here are a few pics of our destination...water in the desert!

thats one thing that im finally jealous of your warm weather. there is no way to do any real wheeling in colorado right now, its all 'snow-bashing'.... which actually breaks a lot more parts than moab style wheeling..

Ahhh......the Arizona desert looks mighty temping. Another great job with the pictures.
