I've had Mitsubishi's for a long time but never a Montero. Sorry I can't help.

I doubt any of us would be much help (unless there is a member who actually has one) since the rig is entirely different.

GOOGLE Montero shop manual. There are plenty of sites that offer a pdf for about $7.

THere's a guy on the PlanetIsuzoo.com forum who is big into Montys. I think his name is "draider" as in Dodge Raider. You might join up there and see if you can get an answer.
