I can get a set of 4 Rancho 9000s for 168, but the offers only good until noon, my factory shocks are good still, but that seems like too good a deal to pass up, any thoughts? im sure the factory shocks will go eventually..

Go for them eric...hurry !

I wish i had that deal when one of my front shocks leaked out :(

I went with ranchos 5000 series, whole set for $ 180.00 so you can bet it's great deal for sure buddy. :yesb:

In overall i like how they're handling the VX so far,i notice that my horse went like 1 1/2 lower in height, but surprisingly i like how the VX looks now, like street performance SUV kind of instead of off roading.

great find man. I'm thinking about these myself. I love the handling with the OEMs but man, I'm not going offroad much these days (even have street tires on now) and the streets downtown are just plain backbreaking with the OEMs. I'd love the option of adjusting the ride a little for longer trips as well.

Ugh. I'm so torn.

Gussie, shocks will not cause a vehicle to be lower or higher. They are dampers. Suspension hieght will only change with spring change or adjusting torsion bars ...did you by chance change tires at the same time as your shocks?

I didn't change tires along wih the shocks, but i have aftermarket tires & rims.

I'm not 100% sure, but to me the height went down a little & my brother-in-law also told me the same thing.

Also the ranchos 5000 series are shorter in lenght then the OEM

Anyways i can't certainly prove it.
