Well...it was nice knowing you James...:yesgray:

But I can tell you won't be hangin' around here much longer.

So, in order to cut my losses friendship wise, I'll say goodbye now.

Have a nice life, be good to Claire...

Jerry Lemond was telling me that Isuzu was planning on introducing a 4.2L V8 (basically a 98+ 3.2 with 2 additional cylinders) for the Trooper, but pulled the plug on that project when the handwriting was on the wall to pull out of the US...

CrotchRocket--- Have you ever wondered why highly modified (especially V-8 transplant) vehicles come up for sale??? 99.99% of the time is because they've turned into a total can-o-worms and the P.O. is fed-up of always fixing it.

The second "link" you have isn't a Range Rover; but rather, it's a Strange Rover.

Whatever off-road vehicle you decide to drool over, please focus only on OEM factory vehicles that came with an OEM factory V-8. Otherwise, it'll just turn into a F.I.A.T. (Fix It Again Tony).:bgwb:

LOL, yep your probably right, they are a can of worms!!!! However, i know the First one states that the engine was put on that RR chassis from a Chevy Blazer but there was an overfinch Range Rover with a 5.7 small blcock chevy V8, could be its the chassis and engine of that with the Landy body....

Anywhooo, i've spent too much on the VX not to use it this year !!!! Just dreamin! However if i get some space for a trailer at some point im gonna get an old RR V8 and an angle grinder and chop it into an off road beast :D
