Cant wait to Mod it out...37s are on the list:smilewink

And of course my new Flex-Bar Super flexy IFS system is already in the works for H3s!!!!

This way, PBKid and I can take all the same LWB lines at Moab:yeso:

The H3's are pretty nice trucks and congrats on your purchase. I test drove an H3 at the dealership "off-road" course they had set-up a while back. Very impressive with their capabilites and nice creature comforts. I came very close to saying "sold - write it up"; however, I just flat don't like any vehicle with 4-doors (no matter what it is). That's why I was so bummed when the 2-door H4/HX was cancelled due to the recession. Hopefully, Ford will build the retro Bronco 2-door Concept someday.:bgwb:

Congrats !

The H3 caught my attention an while back,but didn't like the V5 engine idea.:(

I do like the interior and some exterior features,but to me the H3 looks to simple or to basic unlike the H2 that looks so agressive.

Another con is the windows,the windows are too small.

Overall the H3 is allright.

It's an I5 not a V5, fyi. Same as the Colorado, uses a balance shaft to keep vibrations down.

The H3 also comes in "Alpha" package w/ V8.

H3 isn't a suburban, it's based on a Colorado platform.

lol I'd take an I6 over a V6 any day of the week! I loved my old Pontiac 250 OHC-6 and was going to swap a Trailblazer I6 into my 69' Pontiac project.

H2 = Chevy Tahoe / GMC Yukon
H3 = Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon

Heck, the gas mileage sucks anyway, why not get the V8? Dang thing weighs almost 5,000 pounds anyway.

Most reviews of the I5 version complain about a lack of power on the road, but say it is wonderful off-road.

Ya and the Gen III V8's actually get decent mileage anyways. Probably get as good or better lol

I wanted the Alpha, but settle for the H2. Here's a couple of examples of what you can do with the H3...

only 13/16? Shoot my dad's old Suburban got better than that with the 5.3. I think those ratings might be a little off. And my friend's 6.0L see's 16-17 all day long.

From an H3 Alpha review:

Curiously, owners will pay no great penalty in fuel economy for choosing the V8 — at least not compared to the poor economy of the inline-5 version. In mixed driving, we averaged 13.4 mpg in the Alpha. And the observed economy of the original Hummer H3 we tested in 2006? 13.3 mpg.

They also mentioned the FJ is a second quicker 0-60 than the Alpha...that surprised me.

wow, that mileage sucks! But I was right according to their review lol. Must be the brick-like aerodynamics lol. Shoot my 98' Z71 on swampers got between 14-16 all the time lol.
