The idiots at the garage got me a white wall tyre for my Bike, i mean who uses them these days?????
Anyway i had to accept it as i was short on time and had it booked to go somewhere else.
Any ideas on making it black?? ?

white wall on that big army bike.....
lets see some pictures. Perhaps it looks awesome and you just need someone to tell you how to feel. :)

It doesnt look too bad but i have now lost about a grand getting this bike up to working order and i dont want to buy another white wall for the front, it also doesnt match the black tyre on the sidecar which would look strange in black.
and found this:

I remember from years back, there was a black rubber restorer that you wiped on to make bumpers look deep black again. I'm sure a couple coats of that would work... if only I could remember the products name...

Thanks Dub, i had wondered about shoe polish. Sounds good.
They were talking about dye, not polish...:smilewink

Every time I read the title to this thread I hear the Doors song in my head...
"I see a white wall and I want it painted black..." ;)
