I didn't get to finish my mount but Dustin made good use of the winch channel I had gotten, here is his new winch setup:

No grinding to smooth out those cuts?

What tires does he have again? I'm sure I've asked before but can't remember...

That was test fit pictures, the grinding/cleaning-up was done. He has 34x10.50 Super Swamper LTB's

Is that made from an old heavy truck frame or something?

Dude, those welds look as bad as mine!!! LMAO. I may have to revisit this bumper thing for a third gen. This time out of plate instead of tubing. Now that winter is coming, working outside will be a bit more tolerable.
Looks pretty good and sturdy. Did he bolt the center support to the frame, or does it just rest there as a weight distribution point?

It's bolted to the frame, he welded it up using his mini mig but it's real sturdy, he's really tested it already lol. I didn't see it when he was completely finished so not sure if he went over all the welds again but I know it's strong. Here are my welds using a Miller Pro Mig:

and no, it's made from a universal winch mount and some extra steel.

He must be teaching a class right now, otherwise I'm pretty sure he'd have replied by now.

Wait for it, wait for it. :D
