It also has s straight 6 petrol which I'll be converting to LPG.

As this baby is from 1982 it is classified as an oldtmer in the Netherlands And I don't have to pay any taxes.......and very cheap insurance.

I might even put in a couple of recaro seats.............you know the ones I mean.

Bye ,

Richard

Sweet ride. It looks like the box that the VX came in.:)

Somebody sure loved it good to keep her looking that sharp for 28 years.

*love*

I am VERY close to getting a Merc G Wagon on this side of the pond. My particulars however.... silver or black, AMG, low miles. No real choice but to go used since they aren't imported anymore. The sad part of this story is.... the VX will probably be sacrificed in order for it to happen. We shall see.

No kidding. Btw, what's the vertical pin for on the front bumper? (At least that's what it looks like.) It's just to the left of the blurred out license plate in the pic.

Quick connect tow point connection.

Huh, well there you go, learn something new every day. Seems more simple (but less attractive) than tow hooks or shackles.

Welcome back, Dutchy! There are still a few of us old-timers who remember (even though my memory is not what it used to be.) Nice Merc!
