Isn't there a ball joint "flip" mod that takes a little stress off cv joints? Are you using these to do that?

Flipping the ball joints to the under side of the upper control arm results in a bit more droop (down travel) when wheeling, not much else that I'm aware of...:_wrench:

etlsport...yes these are from ebay...with s&h the set was $95.

Zeus...when looking I saw prices all over the ballpark. This set (all 4 BJs and 4 rod ends) for $95 to $70+ each!

Crotchr...won't be to bad. I have had my front end apart numerous times. Dry desert=no rust! I figure 4 hours max for all 4.:bwgy:

Yeh, it really is, & all the 1/4" spacer does IMO, is give a bit more down travel (flex) to the front A-arms.

When I FINALLY found an alignment guy who was on board with what I wanted (a COMPLETE alignment...I had to interview several), he took the adjustment to the max allowable with regard to how much threads were on the stock bolts, which STLL didn't get me to the camber specs I was hoping for.

Some day, when I've got more ambition, I'll figure out what the specs are for the bolts in question, & procure longer ones, so he can add enough shims to get Suzy closer to zero...:_wrench:
