Seat slider extension

Hi Gang,
Just wondering if anyone has every pulled their seat slider apart - I mean all the way down.
I have removed the seat, and removed the slider from the seat base.

I now want to strip the slider down to work out how to make an extension to the travel, so that the seat will slide further forward, and still go all the way back (Which you loose when you install the slider brackets.)

This is the bit I want to pull apart further.


If I had a spare, I would just go ahead blindly, but without a spare I don't want to fubar it.

Any thoughts??

Looks like you have a pretty good selection of auto salvage yards in your area...:naughty:

Maybe bring it with you to see if any other Holden, or whatever you lot call Isuzus down there, models share the same hardware.

Then cut & weld in a another section, extending the slide...:smack:
