Alright I have not been impressed with my rims for quite some time. I purchased the 16 Pro Comp set with A/Ts within about 2-3 of ownership, because I feared my 20's with Yokohama AVS slicks would not hold up in the winter (which they have since). I made the purchase pretty quick and did not go all out on them thinking I would upgrade within a year or so, but didn't. I haven't because I still can't find one I really want.

So my question now is if I had to sell all or keep all but one what would you do if you were in my position?

My current lineup:
16 - Pro Comps with 265/75-16 A/T
(Don't think they stand out enough and recently I have seen alot of them on JEEPS!)
18 - Stock 265/60-18 Yoko Geolander H/T
20 - Atech 265/50-20 Yoko AVS
(I like the looks in a way and then I don't because they somewhat on the flashy side and not offroad side. Plus they are HEAVY!!!)

I am pretty stuck on TreadWrights being my tire due to the value.
285/65-18 for $145
Anyone know of any other comparable prices?

I really like these rims but I would like them in an 18, they come in 20s but treadwrights dont closest is 19.5 (would that work)

In order of what I would like rim wise: Bronze/Gold or White, then Black.

Really seeing what your opinions are and seeing what other resources are out there for rim or tire sources. Thanks for your advice in advance.

Another rim poll

Have you considered just loading a picture of the VX with the ProComps into a program like photoshop and trying some different colors on the wheels themselves?

Of the three sets of wheels you have, I personally like the ProComps/AT combo for your VX, and if it's just that they don't stand out enough/are unique enough because of how many people have them on Jeeps in the area, you could always personalize them to you and your VX by simply making them another color.

Paintshop is a great way to experiment and "see" your options first before making the actual change, so it can take a lot of the guesswork out of things before you get started.

And IIRC, if you had any particular colors in mind, there are even a couple graphics program experts on the site who could help.

Gold/Bronze or White are my top two.

Just saw the rim pic you posted, personally this is my favorite pic of white rims on a VX. I know, I know, I'm partial to the Borbets, but I think the white-on-white effect looks GREAT for the Ironmans.

Personally I like your 16's the best and your 20's the least. I'm VERY picky about rims so please don't take that as an insult or anything. I'm just not a big fan of anything over 19" and in chrome. Looks chintzy/ghetto fab IMHO.

That is the main reason I do not like my 20's...too flashy but I think for what they are they are good. They have a slight aggressive nature to them. (I did not buy the 20's, they came with from previous owner.)

A white 18' would be awesome. But I have always liked the bronze/gold look too. Not sure why just have.

Does anyone know of comparable mud tires like the price of treadwrights? That could make things much easier. I want to go 33s this time.

The question is, how would bronze/gold look in combination with body color?

A rims' style or color can look great on it's own, but when it's actually ON the vehicle it sometimes just doesn't look right. It'll all still be a matter of personal preference in the end though, so whatever you end up with, as long as you like it...

There is one on here with Xterra rims that are bronze I believe, and it did not look bad. It was an Ironman too.

Doesn't look bad...I like it. I think maybe even slightly more gold tint would be fine too.

Could anyone put this rim on my VX? Preferably the pic with the stock rims on?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-inch-Ballistic-enigma-black-wheels-rim-6x5-5-6x139-7-/300451410162?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item45f44cb0f2#ht_4055wt_942

And if you could show me the way to duplicate this on my photoshop? I am not good with it.
