I was going through our old photos and found some disturbing shots. My wife took most of these. I guess I was somewhere spotting or something..

Yep, I have never really liked the Hi-lift style jacks, good thing it wasn't mine, and we gave up on that idea and switched to a hatchet and tow strap. Took us a quite a while to clear that trail.

I was actually using the rock and hammer style wedge. Much more efficient:smack:

Oh, the hi lift actually broke. I forgot about that. We also broke a 4" tow strap as well. That big ol hard wood tree was not gonna quit.
