Now if something like that was actually integrated into a head unit...

I want one that knows how to shine a laser into the speed cameras so they go blank when you drive by.

Hopefully thats next......I would think in a head unit you would have to have the remote sensors in the front grill and somewhere in the rear, but I want one of those!!

Am I the only one that thought the navigation screen looked kind of hokey?
This makes me think of the garmin GPS/radio combo. They took a so-so GPS and mated it with a so-so radio, and the end product was garbage. I am kind of wondering if this thing will end up the same way, especially at that low or high, pending how you look at it, of a price. You end up spending more for a conglamaration of so-so products squeezed into one unit, when yo ucould save a few hundred bucks and buy the two so-so products individually?

Nope, not the only one. I just didn't want to admit that our minds were going down the same path ... even this once ... ever!!!

It has exactly the same screen resolution (480x272) as the Magellan Maestro 5310 (http://www.magellangps.com/Products/Maestro/Magellan-Maestro-5310-North-America) and Garmin nüvi 2300 series GPS (https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=133&fKeys=FILTER_SERIES_NUVI2300&ra=true) or many TomTom 5" gps (http://www.tomtom.com/en_us/products/car-navigation/xxl-550-series/#tab:specifications)

The PASSPORT IQ using the 2D - 3D GPS maps by NAVTEQ...
