I was really bummed out when the Official car list came out before the game release and the rumored VehiCROSS was NOT included. :(

Still... what fun! :)

Haven't played it, but after seeing that cobra, I want to.
The cobra is my all time favorite auto.

Hey, that Cobra "photo" is from the Super-Pretty-Photo-Mode. I'll have to post a screen shot from the actual game that accurately shows what it really looks like during a race. I don't want to misrepresent the video quality.

I have the Logitech Driving Force GT (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/gaming/wheels/devices/4172) wheel and can't imagine trying to play without it. If you're looking at the same one, $100 sounds like a good deal. I think the best deal I found last year when I got mine was $125(?) Keep in mind you will need to attach the wheel to something.

That wheel you posted is on sale at Meijer's for $89. But I think Meijers is just Indiana, Iowa, Mich, Ohio, Kentucky...not sure how far out they go.

The Cobra is quick so I quickly got up to 3rd place... but then lost control. I think all 9 cars I had passed took turns running into me! :laughing: Now I have to figure out how to post video - I think they spun me around 4 or 5 times!

LOL, i may be older schooler......for my racing, i play a couple of GAME CUBE need for speeds, but i play them in a wii, with game cube controller.

the need for speed for the wii had AWFUL steering controls, had to tilt the controller like a gas pedal....;puke2;

SO... I now have roommates and it looks like we have reached an understanding... I will buy the wheel this weekend for $100 and get it on a mounted setup. Then the Playstation Eye and GT5 will appear out of nowhere next month! I understand with Eye you tilt your head and the camera adjusts to the direction your head faces! I am so drunk and the lights are off... this is tiough to type. :D

I was sad to learn GT5 was playstation only, Forza is a lot of fun, but I wanna race some Isuzu's. I wish there was more player made cars, but I understand licensing restrictions. Still, if someone wanted to build a VX and place it into a racing game, isn't that good for Isuzu? People will buy it on an auction house or w/e and say, holy cow this suv is awesome, where can I buy one in RL? Then Isuzu will have to recast the dies and make another 5k. right?

YES! I would love to meet & race with other VX.info members. On PS3 my ID is MarsSpork. (Yeah, I know... stupid name. That's what happens when the previous 900 IDs you try are all taken then you give up and just put 2 random words together. Apparently I am the self-proclaimed god of war with Taco Bell cutlery. :rolleyes:)

Quick Tip: If you don't have a "PS3 headset".... well, do you have a Bluetooth earpiece for your cell phone? Those can be used, too!

By the way, here are ALL the Isuzus in the game. Some may be known by other names in various countries. All are VERY fun to drive and well behaved without any modifications (possibly because most are somewhat low HP.) I make no apologies, I love older car designs and think they are also beautiful shapes!

There are worse reasons to buy a PS3 - I actually bought mine just to serve as a BlueRay player. :) Between that and Netflix streaming, I've spent a lot more time watching movies than playing games.
