Tweeking the rear view mirror

anyone raised the rear view mirror from its stock position, closer to the ceiling, to improve rear visibility, and or flipping it upside down for the same reason, this made an improvement....i cant raise it yet (as theres a crack inh the windshield under it, tried razoring it off, but made the crack worse.....it'll have to wait until i replace the windshield... ..who'd a thunk there'd be interior lights in the rear view mirror...man i love this thing....didnt think anything would come near winning my affections as much as my Boxster

I didn't relocate the base, I just pushed the main arm coming from the bAse up as far As it would go, then adjusted the mirror. I am 6'9", and can see everything fine. Did this years ago also.
