Trans problem

Of course the snow is here and the VX and I went to check it out, what happens the trans won't move in drive and reverse all forward gears work but only when you pull it back into first to start out. low trany fluid or just tired anyone got a clue

I have already encountered the infamous brake switch problem but sorry to say that ant the problem. Thank you again for the thought.
