LOTS OF PEOPLE HAD ASKED ME, BACK ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO, WHEN I ORIGINALLY SPRAYED MY CLADDING WITH GATORBACK,"WHAT ARE THE LONGTERMRESULTS?" WELL I HAD NO IDEA BECAUSE I'VE NEVER USED IT BEFORE, BUT, IT'S BEEN 4 MONTHS, 3 MAJOR NY SNOW STORMS AND NOT A SINGLE CAR WASH YET.....
I HAD BEEN MEANING TO WASH MY CAR LOL BUT HAVING A NEWBORN AND WORKING MY *** OFF MAKES IT KINDA HARD TO TAKE CARE OF MY CAR AS MUCH AS I WOULD LIKE TO...
SO TODAY, I FINALLY GOT A FEW MINUTES TO RUN TO THE CARWASH N CLEAN HER UP.
LIKE A BUNCH OF U GUYS, I WAS CURIOUS TO SEE HOW THE GATORBACK HELD UP UNDER ALL THAT DIRT AND MOTHER NATURE....
SO HERE IS A PIC... LOOKS AS BLACK AND SMOOTH AS THE DAY I SPRAYED IT, NO JOKE!
I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW GOOD IT LOOKED ONCE IT GOT WASHED. THERE WERE NO CHIPS OR PEELS AND NO FADING AT ALL...
SO THERE U HAVE IT, GATORBACK SCORES AN A++ WITH ME!
HOPE THIS GIVES SOME PEOPLE SOME MORE FAITH IN THE ONE TIME APPLICATION PRODUCT.

Looks great. I need to refresh my paint job that I did in '08 but now I may look into this more. The problem is the ammount of Sun and heat we get here. I wonder if that would cause a different outcome over time. How much was this stuff again?

I think he said it was about $18/can and it took 4 cans.

mike, have you spilled any gas on the cladding since? does it leave discolored marks?

Gatorback sells an anti fuel staining topcoat. I got my Gatorback kit before they had the spray cans and it came with it.

they don't list their fuel top coat in aerosol form...? It must have to be sprayed/brushed on
