Thought it might be a fun exercise to see what the environment's like for everyone where they work.

I work from home when I'm not traveling and this is the view from my office:

http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/500/DSCN0388.JPG

The near feature is how Castle Rock got it's name and the distant mountain is Pikes Peak.

Hey I've been there (Castle Rock and Pikes Peak)! Very cool!

When I'm working from home this is my view (minus the VX's of course ;)):

http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3273/DSC00602.JPG

Unfortunately my real office view is of a parking lot, but hey, that's better than I had for the first 8 years of my career when I worked out of various computer labs and converted storage spaces. :D

Boring, boring, boring. :(

No window, fluorescent lights, beige walls. Sometimes for a change of pace I remove the push pin from the wall (the gray speck in the middle). Sometimes I move it over a few inches or add 2 pins. I wish I had a window.

If I did have a window, I'd either have a great view of the wall of a neighboring building or the parking lot. Aren't you glad you asked? :bwgy:

Actually, Amazon's warehouse is just up the street. But I work for Anixter. We sell wire & cable and fasteners. I take care of all the computers here and then some.

Gary, I think there's a 1st gen Trooper sitting in the middle of that traffic shot!!

You have a heck of a lot of wire fasteners there.

Yup, largest warehouse in the West, and Anixter is one of the largest global suppliers of the stuff...so yeah, pretty huge out there!!

Behind white van, N,NW of the big truck with yellow lift on back....

Second guess:
~Lane 2, dark (black or navy)...two in front of a dark Bronco?

Or, something I know way more about...can anybody spot the '84-'85 Honda CRX?

Mile High VX
03/01/2011, 05:53 PM
The beautiful blue CRX is in front of the white Mercury Sable.

The Trooper is in lane 2 a bit ahead of the big yellow truck in lane 3 and behind the van in lane 1. You can spot the suspect split rear window with the small pane on the right side of the rear.

Yup, that's my guess #2, the split window was key, although the window looks like it's more 50/50 so it may not be a Trooper.

And yes, you nailed the CRX...I had a red one....my first brand new car, ordered it and everything...my first love I think!

Sorry for the T/J everybody....:mbrasd:

I'm with this guy and the crap view, except mine is currently at night. Even worse! Can't see what or who is crawling around in the parking lot!

But we share a trump card in the fact we live in Florida! I haven't had to run my heater more than a week or two this winter, and already taken my kayak to the water while it was still February. So take that, scenic mountain view jerks!

I would HATE having that view... i would want to leave work all day, like everyone else in the world, then dread it, just by looking out the window... what a terrible limbo to be stuck in all day- sit at work and be miserable, or sit in traffic and be miserable.

Tis the curse of living in the Fed's Watering Hole. It's one thing to have a large government.... it's another thing to HAVE THEM ALL WORK IN THE SAME SMALL AREA! Jeez, spread them thin. I hear there's a lot of room in the Midwest...

That's always been my thought, especially from a force protection perspective. What sense does it make to headquarter a huge percentage of your government, military, and contractor work force all within the same 30 mile radius?!?
