Maybe there's value to having a JDM rack bought from an original JDM Isuzu dealer? Doesn't say whether the seller would consider shipping overseas, but can't hurt to ask right? Check it out, and for reference:

Seriously, are the JDM cross members different than ours? Wow, I didn't know that.
Looks like the metal bracket that graps the rails is the same, and maybe the plastic towers....

My JDM catalog shows these cross bars as being a dealer option, along with a rectangular, aluminum Thule roof basket. I assume they redesigned the cross bars and stopped offering the basket for the 1999 model year.

Unfortunately the ad says international shipping please do not respond to. To bad this is a nice rack. Maybe there are still Thule towers available that fit the VX though?
