So to my understanding the Powertrax Lockright auto locker for the front 10-bolt axle had been discontinued some time ago. Probably not that bad of a thing anyway. However, I have been looking at getting a Powertrax No-Slip (for at least one of my Dana 44's).

I have not seen that it is available for the VX but that it is available for the Rodeo front end. What is the difference, or do you think if it works for the Rodeo it works for the VX? It may be a great alternative to the Aussie locker...

Isuzu 10 bolt axle is the same on rodeo/passport/trooper/slx/vx other than SOTF found on later models. The CVs and gearing is where the differences are found between models.

If the locker is made for an isuzu 10 bolt diff, it should work with the VX. Where did you find the powertrax rodeo front locker?

That's what I thought! I reviewed this guide (http://www.zu4x.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=21) and looked over Indy4x as well to double check even. Apparently, Rocky Road Outfitters has some identification problems...

There is no 17-spline 10-bolt Powertrax available... :( jerks.

I had one of these installed into the rear axle of my '96 2wd dodge ram and I really liked it. It really helped alot in the traction deficiency dept of a 2wd.

After I added sand for weight & studded snows plus this locker; she was a hoot to drive in the winter! I was passing 4wd's on the way to work when previously I was hold'en them up!

Sometimes I think about putting one of these in the rear of my '07 'stang.
