Nice do you plan on producing them for sale?

prolly not,it was a bitch cutting it out pretty labor intensive, and the chroming was expensive.
i do have the template that i can send to anyone that would want to give it a try.
a sheet of gray abs would be easier to cut the design out of and would not have to be chromed.
let me know if anyone wants a copy of the template

In my opinion, I think a black mesh behind the chrome grill would be a great way to offer more protection for those wide openings. I could see a lot of debris flying in there.

i was thinking of that but the back side is chromed also and i dont want the mesh to rub off the chrome and have it start rusting/lifting.any suggestions??

perhaps some padded double sided sticky tape in between the chrome and the mesh.

I can't really decide if I like it or not. It's too much BLING for my taste but what I'm on the fence about is the fangs. With that grill design, the fangs actually detract from the effect.
Don't get me wrong, you did an excellent job and it does look great ... on your's.:)

i know what you mean,i was thinking the same thing.i was goin to leave the fangs all polished but i think i will paint the black trim back on them to break up the chrome piece from the fangs..give it a little separation

I have tried many different options and seen all of these types of mods especially by Ron at VXconcepts but in my opinion all of them look absolutely terrible when compared to the factory look. The simplicity and aggressive nature of 2 fangs just looks awesome, everything else is just too busy and takes away from the clean look of the VX in my opinion. Nice chrome fangs though I really like that but the rest I am not a fan of, hope you like it though. :-) I am happy with just my fangs high polished.

check out otto's gallery, he made a "grille" using door molding trim, its not quite billet, but it doest look good and aggressive

How does one high-polish the fangs? I thought they were titanium or some other rare metal or plastic or something? Just curious. Thx

Billet behind the fangs might look awesome.

Yah, I like the look of the grill ... just don't like cleaning that honeycomb (refer to other thread (touch screen phones) about my gorilly fingers).
