Thanks for the post Mark.

Keeps me thinking that this is the last vehicle I may ever have!

No, I only have one vehicle. There are supposedly 838 people in the US named Mark Griffin. Only one has a Vehicross. ;Dy;

Mark Griffin

How do you know that? :)

Well, I don't know why this old thread got revived, but I just took a look at my mileage data.

In less than eleven months, I put on 22,896 miles for a total of 263,556. That raises my lifetime avg to 22,185 miles per year and 60.8 miles per day! As my VX gets older, I drive it more than ever and it continues to run like a dream. Do I own the very best Vehicross ever spawned from Japanese waters? It's very possible.

Try to imagine driving your VX 60 miles every day for 4,336 days straight. That's the equivalent of what I've done. :eek:

I don't know for sure, but I like to think there's no one on this planet with more miles behind the wheel of a VX than me. And there's no end in sight. 300,000 miles is my current vision quest with a target date of mid-2013. :yesy:

Hey mark you definately ended up with the "best" VX for sure.

Hopefully i'll be wrong but i doubt another VX can follow or catch up with such pristine history.

Congrats !!!!

Wow....more money spent on fuel than the cost of the vehicle. That is a statement for the longevity!

Or...maybe a testament to the high price of fuel?

BTW...at 18.5mpg, what percent of your driving is on the hwy? Do you still use (and can find) 100% gasoline?

The price of petrol in Europe, Oz, & most other places around the world, are always in my mind as I hear the other Yanks complain about gas getting on towards $4../gal.

We're pretty lucky...:yesgray:
