By the way, anyone know where I can get a better code reader? I'm thinkin like something I can hook up to my laptop.

This thread deserves more keywords. It was kinda hard to find. so... ODB2 codes, ODBII codes, ODB-2 codes,

Hey guys/girls =)

Anyone have any idea what could cause these codes to appear on the computer? P1640 ODM 1 Input Voltage High (Except 1998 Rodeo) & P1870 Transmission Component Slipping.....I just had my manifold intake gasket replaced (30783 miles on 1999) and 5 codes came up....3 realted to the gasket prob, but the other 2, the mechanic wasn't sure of (non Isuzu shop)

Should I worry? I wanted 20 " rims, but if my VX is gonna crap out soon, I should prob save the $$$$$$

dealer replaced my manifold once and f'd all sorts of things up....they had to keep it a month and a half just to fix everything they screwed up...I thought it was funny...maybe I would get a new engine..but it didn't hapen..and I wound up walking to work everyday for that time.

I guess the only way to be truly at peace is to gut all VX's everywhere and replace them with better working, fuel efficient, and more powerful ones...

Also my check engine light came on and got it checked our. i got the following code: (P1153) which is H02S Insufficient Switching Bank 2 Sensor 1 :confused: :confused: :confused: .......um so what do i have to replace lol. Any info is appreciated. :)
