Hello to all the happy vx'ers !!!

I am going to the garage to do the 15000 mile service on Monday. The dealer is backed up for about 3 weeks and it would cost an arm a leg and probably my left kidney to pay for it !

Therefore I will try to accomplish the servicing myself. My uncle Alex is experienced mechanic. He will provide the garage, lift and his help. I was wondering if some of you guys can help me by giving me some directions or tips on performing the service. Step by step instruction on the following servicing issues would help:

Change front & rear axle oil
Change transfer case oil
Check: battery fluid leverl, coolant level, brake fluid level, for fluid leaks, cooling & heater hoses, exhaust sustem, tires & wheels, steering operation, brake lines & hoses, disc brakes, brake pedal play, suspension & steering, power steering fluid, TOD system fluid, cruise control linkage & hoses, starter safety switch, accelerator linkage
Lube accelerator linkage
Lube body & chassis
Lube key lock cylinder

I especially need help with fluid changing and what fluind to use. I would greatly appreciate any help from you guys and girls. If not please help with finding this info.

Thanks again and see you all at King Richard's Fair !!!

Use the search feature of this site and you'll probably find most of that. I know ther eis a lot of good info on the fluid changes because I hunted that down myself too. Anything not here somewhere could probably be handled fine by your uncle.
