93.09 this one is just fustrating almost made me cry :(
Prices here in NYC are over the $ 4.00 regular.
I already saw prices as high as $ 4.23 per galon regular
Premium can be seen as high as 4.67
You guys are lucky.
Very rarely that I fill up for less than $100 in the last 6 months, and about to go up again.
But then, I do live close to work, so only fill up once a month unless I go on a trip.

I'm back on my mountain bike most nights now. Gas is still under $4 here in FL, but I'm sure it's not for long!

$3.54 for regular here in CO, but it's going up almost everyday...:(
I've only put about 100 miles on the VX this month since I've been mostly just going to the airport and back. Since I work out of my house I don't have to drive my daily driver to work...ever!

ROFL - great pic.

:slap:
I drive 100 miles a day for work. I just started a new schedule though (work 9 hour days and get every other Friday off) that should help a little. Right now, I hafta fill up every 3 days. That's why the VX is NOT my DD.

$4.27 for Premium here. Seems to go up 8 cents every 2 days. Sadly, both of my metal horses take Premium. *sigh*

Yah, but the pic was just too funny to turn this thread into a political debate.

I'm pretty lucky - my round trip to work & back is 12 miles and the vast majority of my favorite businesses are along the same route. Regular unleaded here is $3.50 & up, but "real gas" without ethanol is around $3.67 & up.
Is everybody using sites like gasbuddy.com (http://www.gasbuddy.com/)? It's good for finding the lowest price, but I'd also caution against using the cheapest "no name" stations. I was a devotee of gasbuddy and used cheap gas during the first two years of owning my Monte Carlo. Then I had to have injectors cleaned. The bill worked out where I could have been spending 50 cents a gallon more for better gas and would have broke even. I still use gasbuddy - but only to compare stations I trust.

Thanks, I agree, I don't want a debate, just a little political satire is all.

I can forecast chinese economy getting another boost by the US when bike sales hike up.
Now we got to really start thinking about going GREEN because of the GREED :flame2:

I was wondering if green tech might possibly be why we here in the mountain states are lagging behind the rest of the country in fuel prices. Hybrid tech has been pretty popular, here. The second question I always get with the VX is "is that a hybrid?" There's a Tesla showroom (http://www.teslamotors.com/boulder) in Boulder. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (http://www.nrel.gov/) has a number of locations in the state including a big wind farm. Some of those wind turbines are built right here by Vestas (http://www.vestas.com/en/media/news/news-display.aspx?action=3&NewsID=2373). On top of that, we're pretty tight with our bikes, and have led the way with that socialist program (http://www.bostonherald.com/news/national/central/view/20100804colo_gov_hopeful_maes_says_bike_share_thre atens_personal_freedoms/srvc=home&position=recent) of bike sharing, B-Cycle (http://www.bcycle.com/)
Maybe... just maybe our pioneering of green tech is paying us dividends.
On the other hand, it MIGHT just be that Colorado is near refineries in Wyoming. and generally uses lower fuel grades (premium is 91 proof, 82/85/91).

I think it's probably more likely the fuel blend you use and possibly the taxes. I live in Louisiana and our prices are usually significantly lower than in Georgia. I can't tell you what our prices are right now because I don't buy regular. The last tank of 93 octane I bought was 3.89

CO taxes per gallon are 22 cents, that's 23rd in the nation.
WI is the highest at 32 cents and GA is the lowest at 7.5.
LA is 20 cpg.

$1.293 per litre at the gas station across form work here in Ottawa.
That's CDN$4.86 per US gallon.
