Ah, so sad. Saying goodbye to my VX.

Along with packing all my stuff, I removed the lightbar that I had on top. After seeing it with it for so long it is kinda junk to see it off.

Anyways, I am moving to Japan for several years as a missionary with a sister church over there. Not that close to Sendai, I'll be in Yokohama a good distance away. Too torn to sell the VX, so I convinced one of my friends to use it lovingly while I'm gone. Hopefully I'll come back and my baby will be there waitin!

Been waiting for this opportunity for a couple years, and it finally came, although the earthquake and tsunami made it a little more complicated.

Thanks for everything! And I'll still be lurkin here like crazy, and if you guys want stuff from JP lemme know ;) Although as we all know shipping is nuts, doh.

Nice to hear that the opportunity you were hoping for has become a reality. Hope all goes well.

And since you mentioned/offered it, I'll call first dibs on any sets of the JDM Vehicross door-mount wind/rain deflectors you happen to come across during your travels. Shipping charges have indeed gotten outrageous over the years, but why not splurge every now and then.

Good luck again with your work.

Wow, what an opportunity! Good luck to you and your missionary work. They sure need as much help as possible. Will you be with others from your church or solo? I would imagine many many from the ravaged areas will be flocking to the other areas, so you'll no doubt meet many of these people.

You might want to try to "hook up" with the Japanese site guys "in your spare time"....if you ever have any. I think one main guy does speak some English IIRC.

I'd be interested/ have dibs on the side skid plates if you can get them.

Be safe, and wishing you success.

Aww, even though I'm such a lurker I still love ya guys.

I'm going up there solo, but hooking up with one of our churches there, so I already know a good amount of people there and shouldn't be too hard to get my feet on the ground.

Definitely going to try to find the JP VX crew, maybe they would be able to help me find all those mysterious parts we always crave! I'll keep my eyes open!!
