Every one here remember when you go to ebay and you be lucky to find 200-300 items for our loved VX on ebay. well at least most the stuff there was for the VX, now i went to see what is on ebay for our loved VX's and WOW  15,155 results found for Vehicross, thats crazy, and the crappy part though is, half the stuff is crap.

Most of the Stuff on eBay is crap. I'd put the percentage of crap much higher than 50%. How many of the VX "parts" are snake oil or similar scams like electric turbochargers?

yeah you are right, lets put it in the 80-90% range.

That crap is annoying too. Makes it hard to find legit parts etc, for whatever vehicle you're searching for...

Everybody try this:

Check "Worldwide"
Check "Include Description"
Type "vehicross"
Search yields 16,876 results

Now type "vehicross -xenon"
Search yields 4,070 results

Now uncheck "Include Description"
Search yields 801 results

I blame all the damn xenon headlight guys.

I couldn't agree more on that topic

What ebay sellers don't understand is that generalizing every single item for all brand & models of vehicules only plays against them.

How these sellers could expect that the same HID kit that fits a audi TT can also fit a ford focus when is for likely that the HID kit might not fit neither car.

That's why many times they end up shipping the wrong item to the buyer/highest bidder or they realized they don't have the item in stock and force you to wait weeks to get your package because they can't track every single order in a fashioned manner

The real goal is as you narrow your search looking for the item you are after for their listings pops up,that's the reason they post dozen of dozen of listings all over site.

Absolutely true Ashley, the headlight garbage is so voluminous! I've done many searches (for VX and other stuff too) where I exclude so many words, I actually run out of room. I'm generally "happy" if I can get it down to 200-300 items...

-Thanks Maverick, for that, never thought about that.

Another thing i can't stand is that if you want a used part, cuz they are cheaper, you have to look in the useless crap of unwanted stuff to get what you want, Kinda like a kid going in his toy box to find one toy, its annoying. :)

On the left side under "Condition" select Used and it cuts it down quite a bit. You can even go further and select Factory/OEM under the "Part Brand" for all of the OEM stuff but you will still get some rebuilt items. If you then go back and remove the "used" filter you'll get all of the OEM parts listed.

One problem with doing that is that sellers frequently don't check off the various items, so it excludes them if they're left blank. I don't want to miss an item that way. So I try to find unique words in the ads I want to exclude and add them to the "-" part of my search string.

Often, if you click on "Isuzu" under brand, you'll still get a ton of garbage...because the seller wants you to still find their listing, even if it's not "Isuzu" brand so they've checked that box...so I still try to find enough unique words to exclude, to pare it down to a manageable size number of listings.
