Hi all, just wondering, with our beloved VXes climbing in age/mileage, has anyone ever replaced the fuel injectors? I am thinking about pulling one of mine to inspect it for carbon build-up. My VX just doesn't fire up from cold start like she used to, and any little bit of help might be a good idea at this point.
Thoughts? Anyone do this yet?

Have you tried an injector cleaner like Lucas?

I had mine out, and they were ugly looking. I soaked the business ends inseafoam for an hour or so, then popped them back in. It ran fine before, and runs fine now......I've seen sites that you send your injectors to, and they clean them ultrasonically. I wonder how big a difference it would make in performance and mpg's????

Thanks, guys, yeah, I bet mine are pretty nasty....
I would think any restriction or clogging would be good to clean off.

I fell asleep reading this last night, ( it was late, not boring) still haven't finished, but it's interesting.

This isn't for the faint of heart, and he makes this point often. Anyway.....
