I am doing mine in realtree camo with full interior done to. I will give great prices to all on this forum. I will post some pics up now.. I also do skulls. Pics will be posted in gallery.

Freakin awesome man! Good luck with this new venture. I am aleady thinking of all kinds of things I want done.... do you have a catalog of the types of paterns you can get..... just want to start browsing and dreaming lol.
I really like the carbon fiber gas caps in your gallery.
(Glad to see you got your old account name back too) :grino:

That's awesome! Do you have a snow-camo pattern? (I know this would require a wrap instead of what you are doing, but I always thought it would look really cool to do an entire VX in a snowcamo wrap, minus the cladding)

Yes anything is possible. Here is a website for patterns. This is just some of them

Reply will be 2 days. 1 to do it and 1 to ship. Will never hold up anyone but if not in rush can save some $ cause can do together. But if needed right away , will be done right away.

Price is $20 without shipping. Does that sound reasonable? Like i said just starting but will make sure all work is flawless.
NICE! I will be in the market for blackwood accenting on my Blazer to match my steering wheel. Think you can match GMC Denali blackwood?

Carbon fiber half moon would be awesome... not sure how hard it would be to wrap vinyl over such an odd shape though...

That's the beauty of this water transfer stuff... as long as you have a water tank large enough to dip the entire part in...it works great

I saw this technology on American Choppers. They did an off road motorcycle that was camo-dipped... Coolest thing ever.
Seriously... you're going to have a lot of customers from this site. :)

I just saw them doing this stuff on American Chopper, its a very cool process.
Edit: Nice timing Bullet. The episode I saw they were putting a hundred dollar bill design on a bike.

Hey, how durable is it? Is it cladding worthy?

I just saw that one also....so when Boarzhead said water transfer process I figured that's what he was talking about! Plus the dude had them spray it with 24 gold flake..... Was that obnoxious with a capital "O" or what? What he do, hit the lottery or something?
BOARZHEAD

Only heat resistant as a clear coat would be. This is just a paint patern so primer and clear coat determine durability

How would you go about doing a whole vehicle? Or is that even possible? Also, can you spray clear over it?
BOARZHEAD
05/14/2011, 11:03 PM
No on vehicle. unless u dismantle it and give it to me. All process gets coated from flat to higloss.

Way cool. Saw the 100 dollar bill episode of American Chopper, crazy stuff.
So is there any limitation to the substrate is? A carbon fiber skid plate would look nice. How would you want them prepped is you could do fiber glass?

Hmmm, I have some extra parts laying around, spoiler, entire dash bezel, and some other misc stuff. I also have a ton of switch blanks and switches. Do you need any parts? We might be able to work out a deal. I am thinking a CF dash bezel would be neat, as well as all the switches. Seems kind of boring, might have to peruse the patterns and find something a bit more unique. You get the idea though. Let me know if you need anything, I can even get the entire center console, door panels, just about all the interior.
How about a yellow carbon fiber? Perhaps a yellow diamond deck? Not sure how I feel about that much yellow inside, but who knows.
vt_maverick
05/15/2011, 07:37 PM
Only reservation I would have about adding CF bits to the interior is that it might be hard to match the factory faux-CF pattern. Not a big deal for the bezel, but other parts of the dash (primarily the edges) will meet up close enough to the door to potentially create an odd contrast...
What is going on the parts, a film?
How do you think it will hold up on wheels.
Stuff looks incredible.
BOARZHEAD
05/17/2011, 06:37 PM
Its great for wheels. What it is is just a pattern put on in water. It floats and as you submerge part it wraps it. The clear coat is what will determine durability just as paint on vehicle

Can be done. Once I do my whole truck from interior to exterior I will better understand how much material needed for each piece to price. Gonna give this site best pricing around. I am doing full cladding, roof rack "when done" rear spoiler and hood insert with scoop, and full interior like this. Then the black on outside will be painted Military flat tan. The base coat under pattern will be the flat tan so it will blend into it to match rest of truck

I have another good one for you to do when you are ready....I want to do my Injen intake in red CF to match the gas cap, all I need is the go ahead to send you funding and some packages...lol. I have a corporate UPS acount, so I can do prepaid return shipping to save you some time and $$$.
I think the cladding screws in CF red would be sweet as well. Since my proton is already accented in red, it will fit right in.

the knife was painted usind a duracoat.
BOARZHEAD

Yes. The only thing would be the texture would be alittle less cause basecoat plus pattern plus top coat, but can use a textured top coat so not smooth.

Unbeatable is good, but can we get a reference for the most likely parts like:
Half moon
Hood insert
Spoiler
And can you do whole cladding parts?
BOARZHEAD

I am doing whole truck. Cladding, rims, hood insert, roof rack, full interior. When I do this I will have better understanding on what to charge. Cladding will require lots of prep.
My tank is big enough to do full claddings and fourwheeler plastics.
