View Full Version : gas cap
I know I read a post about someone redoing their gas cap and that it was chrome underneath. I have tried the search option but no luck. Anone recall the post or anyone played with gas cap?

i believe the factory gas cap was just sanded to bare metal, polished and clearcoated. not quite chrome, but still a pretty nice look.
I painted mine straight black a few years ago, its starting to show some age now so I will probably do it again soon. Really really tempted to try duplicolors new black chrome paint..
