I will be taking the VX and the RS to Kansas Rocks park in October! Should be great camping weather. Let me know if any are interested. We will probably have some Jeepers with us. We will be rolling out of KC, MO, only about 2 hours from the park.

Hey, something near me!

Hmmm, if I can go, I wonder if I could talk my workaholic buddy in Springdale, AR into joining in with his Jeep Comanche. I'll also have to find out if my workaholic nephew trusts his 1970's Toyota Land Cruiser enough to take a trip. Tough sale for small business owners.

Just testing the waters to see if anyone still on board with this. We are taking the VX and the RS for sure on Saturday the 15th. The park is only open sat/sun now. You can camp in the park for 10 bucks I think. Not sure if we are camping or driving down friday evening and crashing at a hotel, wheel all day,and then drive home. Its only 2 hours away from KC.

I'm still planning on it.

Sweet, I will see you there. I will PM you my cel#. We can figure out if we are camping or whatever. I posted this up on the Planet, 0 responses. We are trying to get some of our excelsior springs friends to tag along, and my FIL will probably ride along as well.

I really hate saying this, but my status has just changed to "probably not." :( We're trying to put together a whole weekend with my bros & sisses. Everybody is good to go for that weekend and I was the last hold-out. Sorry, Marlin, I've been counting the days to go to Kansas since you brought it up, but I just don't see the family often enough to pass on this.

In light of the fact that it will just be me and the wife going now, I think we wil go tomorrow and go to tuttle creek lake orv instead. Looks more challenging, and is the same distance. It is in manhattan ks. Shoot me a pm if interested.
