Well I have worked out all the bugs and ready to start dipping for people. I will do a price based on what is needed. Send me pm and will give you quote. Like I said, I am in it to do it for you not just for profit. Will work with everyone. Also.... Every dollar I make from this website, I will donate once a month, 10% to help with this domain and keep it running. ;Do;

I saw that process on American Chopper, sweet setup! Might take you up on some stuff for the Mustang :)

pretty cool. I saw that episode of American Chopper and was very impressed. SO how close can you match the carbon fiber pattern that is used on the door panels of the VX? Be nice to finish off the interior that way. Or maybe, just do redo those panels too.

So far no luck. If you look at the door panels the carbon fiber is done in triangles not squares. I will keep looking though

Boarzhead,

please forgive my ignorance again, but what is the cost range of this kind of work. (ie; how much do you charge to dip a typical VX dash?)

Also, what is the 'toughness' of this kind of product? (ie; does it scratch easily, or is it like a dye?)

To add on to this thread and combine mine into it. Since you don't have the pattern, what would the ballpark figure be if you did ALL of the plastic pieces on the inside so the pattern did matches?

I will measure up all the interior parts tnite and post prices on everything seperatly. Yes this is very durable. Prep determines how well it adheres and top coat determines duability.

did you ever work up a price list? hopefully you can include full cladding in the list.

Not yet but will this week. I know full cladding will take 10 meters of material with some left over for interior. No have to figure out how much left.
