Hi, which is the sensor that controls torque converter in the 2nd and 3rd gear and at the same time the overdrive in highway. I got problems with both functions.

Hi, when I reach 60mph the overdrive begins to play and never get engage. It's not until a long drive that it work properly. Also, when ask for power, you know that after 2500rpm you can fell a shift from the trans converter, mine begin to play too and it doesn't engage.
Mine run in 1900rpm in 50mph in flat and more or less 2200rpm in 60mph. I think is a little high 3000rpm at 70mph, I'm not sure. Thanks for any tip.

My OD is engaging, so I know that isn't the problem. 3k is high for me, we've been discussing it in this thread as well. I tried replacing FRP and EGR thinking it would help, that fixed some other issues but not the RPM.

I got problems too with the Check engine light. Code P0401; poor egr flow. Did you replace yours and fixed it? I clean everything, the Egr tube inside the motor and behind the throttle with a clothe hanger, but I'm afraid I've to buy a new one. The one I have is from ebay, Global automotive, and some friends here said that they sell crap. :- (

Yeah, I actually got the same code a week after I bought mine. Pulled the EGR, cleaned it, and then pulled the battery to reset. The code came back a few months later though so I just ended up replacing it. I tried to buy an EGR online but they ran out of stock. I ended up having to go to Pep Boys, $120.
