Like the title says...I am 15 weeks out from my 15th Ironman (Ironman Arizona in Tempe, Az.).
I just finished a 3 week mid season break in which I got to cut back to ONLY 9 workouts per week vs. the usual 15-16. Last week was a transission week...getting back into the heavier work load. This week the real fun begins. The training time will jump back into the 19-23 hour a week zone, the training days will get longer and the training intensity will increase.12 weeks of suffering followed by 3 weeks of tapering and then the big day...November 20th.
The goal is to go under 9:50 on race day and punch my ticket to the Hawaii Ironman World Championships (2012).

Naps are good...I just woke from a short one after todays morning track workout (run) and bike ride. :) The high temps and monsoon season humidity take a lot out of me!! From wake up to after workout I dropped 7 pounds even though during that time I consumed 88oz of gatorade, 16oz of Monster and 80+oz of h2o.

Being the positive thinker I am, I'll take that as a complement to my mad offroad driv'in skilz...since my 1st VX is still pretty much in 1 piece!:bwgy:

I can't imagine you'd take any other way than the way it was meant...:yesgray:

With the possible exception of those pieces that have been cut off...:smack:

Billy, you do realise you can stop all this torture - don't you??
We will allow it.
You don't have to do it.

Then again, if you are one of those Masochistic guys that like that sort of thing - well what ever gets your engine going is fine by me.:p:p:winky::winkgray::o

Good luck with it.
