could this dude's VX adventures and listings get any weirder?

It seems you could just take in pictures of a perfectly whole VX to show both the body shop and insurance company. There's plenty of pictures on this site, Edmunds, and all over the internet that would probably work fine.

This guy contacted me and came to look at mine. Weird but he was not interested in buying just came to look and left. I did not know he was the bikini doc guy.

What sort of background would lead someone to consistantly leave the "e" off of the word estimate or estimator? I don't say this to make fun, I am honestly curious about that particular spelling idiocyncracy. If you don't know, feel free to stimate the cause.

The "e" key on his keyboard sticks?:o

Considering the lack of capital letters and punctuation my guess would be he's "thumb typing" from a smartphone.

What is a bikini doc? I can't google that at work, doesn't sound safe...

Oohhhh. Sounds like a job I might enjoy!

I think that depends entirely on what's in the bikini:bwgy:

'Cause you just know when Hollywood movie and music video producers go looking for cars for their videos, they always go to Craigslist before their local Bentley/Ferrari/Cadillac dealership. ;)

This is the problem with Proton, it's just such a "look-at-me-NOW" color that it can't help but attract screwballs. ;)

"I will let you know everything you need to know on how to drive safely, react quickly, avoid getting hit by other cars."

Quote is from his 'boot camp' ad. Rekin he didn't practice what he preached.

Strange how a guy offering his rig for promo shoots uses someone else's rig to promo his own.

Gee, I wonder how Marlin feels about that.

That's BBVX not Marlin.

Well, Patrick has had his VX back for a while now. I don't know how that whole mess with the repair got resolved.

He put up an ad in Jan about his UFO Boot Camp Driving School without mentioning the vehicle used. I emailed him about what vehicle he's using. He said call him 'cuz I would probably have to look it up. So, I'm sure it's the VX. He has double pedals installed in it just like the other VX he was using to teach.

He's now also giving tours of LA in the VX. The pictures he's using are not his VX.

And, you can rent his VX for use in a movie or photo shoot.

It's good to see Patrick has is VX back and is being his good 'ole entertaining self again. :yesy:

I recognize the first one, but can't place it. Not Marlin's....his was never that clean and "stock" (OK, I see it's lifted, but still)

This second one belongs to Brian Burr. Has the cool front brush guard.

I think the 3rd is an Isuzu promo shot..isn't it?

This isn't Marlin? I mean, just look at that front bumper - or what's left of it, rather.

nope, Brian Burr. I have that pic copied and in my VX pictures and it's titled with his name. Can't recall his screen name however.

Brian Burr = BBVX. Take a look at his gallery, here's a good one:

Ahhhh... I see it now, it's the glare of front guard that's making it look to me like it was chopped in the smaller picture.

*Ahem.* So then, I wonder how BBVX feels about that. :shygray:

Carry on...

enquiring minds want to know:

If this is such a fantastic advertising medium, how come he never advertised the UFO Driving School that way???
