I guess it's Spanish. This poor guy has a crap load of problems with his VX. It looks like something very bad happened to the undercarriage. Maybe we can help him out?

The guy explains on the video that the 4 supports located between the frame and the chassis are all gone so the VX is sitting lower and whenever it makes a turn the VX leans more than what it supposed to.

Apparently the previous owner had the TOD disconnected,it seems the TOD got some issues ( TOD check light is blinking ).

Due to the VX missing those supports located between the frame & chassis the drive shaft is making contact with the cross member above when the guy drives over a uneven/bumpy road.

From the video it also seems that the engine have a rough idling

Sounds like it might be best to cut losses, and purchase another VX.

Someone did a shade tree lowering job and thought to make it RWD. They clearly failed. :p

Based on the conversation on all videos, it seems to me that the VX is being inspected by a mechanic and telling whoever is video taping all the issues with the VX. Not sure if the person video taping is trying to purchase the vehicle or is a dealer trying to determine if to salvage or repair the VX.

I guess the videos where uploaded for someone that was not able to inspect the car by himself. The person video taping is very silent, so I guess the videos are just for proof. The mechanic even explains how the TOD screen is supposed to work, so obviously the person video taping knows nothing about a VX.

Hey Pepino - I see you online now, can you add anything to the translation on this?

Hi Kat,
Got your message, watched the youtube videos and yes the user seems to be in the state of Tamaulipas consulting a general mechanic that doesn't seem to know much about the VX. He addresses normal problems like the hood hinge which doesn't work, the TOD seems to be disconnected so its not working. He also says something about a dent under the central shaft that spins, I don't know the name for that part in english but my VX has it too and I think it was that way since new to give some clearance to the shaft.
Its just a general analysis on the condition of the vehicle.

Yes what you said is all correct Gussie, but i still think the mechanic is wrong about the driveshaft making a dent becaus emy VX has always had that dent and its lifted and I have jumped and never felt the drive shaft making contact with anything. I think it is there on purpose to give some clearance for the driveshaft to move up and down. Correct me if I am wrong, can anyone look under their VX over the driveshaft to see if my dent is normal or it was caused by something

Don't know pepino, but what the mech said is that whenever the VX rides over a bump the driveshaft hits the crossmember, what can possibly happened the crossmember is dented, not the driveshaft.

I can't imagine how much vibration a dented driveshaft can make while the VX is in motion :rollo2:
