Will a Trooper ECU work??

Last week I reported on the forum that my intermittent misfiring had been fixed. Well, no it never was. I brought it back to the trans mechanic and he has had it for a week. He is baffled. His last resort ideas is that it may be the ECU.
Go ahead and give your ideas on the misfire....I have done it.
but my question is will a trooper ECU work?? I think it will and the only caution I have heard is that I get one produced after Nov 01. :mad:

I think it's got to be different as the VX is the only Isuzu with full-time TOD. Also, the Trooper has a vacuum operated front axel drive assembly. The trooper need s different instructions from the ECU.
