Did you get the blk/red interior (only 87 made) or the black/grey (EXTREMELY common - 226 made ha! ha!)
You're gonna love it!

Ahem... black is the most handsome color, eh? Some folks might argue that. :-)

It is one of my faves though!

Say what!? :confused:

I guess it's alright if you want to blend in, but I like to stick out myself. There's only one way to do that....Proton Yellow :D

..okay, this is where I say "If you want to look like a Ford Escape or an Xterra...". Then others would chime in that Mica Green or the Foxfire is rarer and therefore the best... not to forget the ironmen (and women) and of course, the silvers of Kaiser and Astral.

They all are georgeous, special, rare, tough looking and very addicting once you get behind the wheel.

Funny you should say that about the Escapes and Xterras. I'm always bumping into owners that have yellow versions of those vehicles and they ask me a million questions about my VX. Most of them say they like the looks of mine better than theirs.

Another funny thing is going to car lots with no license plate on your VX yet. You have to run people away from it. They think it's some new version. I can never keep the windows clean on it because people are always sticking their faces on them to look in. ;Dy;

ALL VehiCrosses are beautiful, which is true. I'm sure we all have color preferences.

I will say this about black. I also thought it didn't show off the design enough, but then I see all these pics of blacked out VXs (black everything), and that is really cool, and a clean and shiny black VX looks as good as anything else.

I personally never was keen on silver, and my VX is silver. I'd have wanted a proton but wasn't patient enough. :-) But now I really like the silver because I like the way light plays off of it at all times of day, overcast or sunny. Also hides light scratches. It is easily the most common VX color so it is the most run-of-the-mill, but then again no VX is exactly run-of-the-mill. :-)

I agree. VX are one of the coolest things on the road. I just had to "represent" the Proton owners who might be reeling on the most beautiful color being black.:)

Well, I had a black92 Amigo, got it when it was new. I loved that thing did not want to get rid of it. But a kid changes everything.
that was in 2000. now that the kid is 3years old it was time to get
something cool and VX was it. "Black" VX was the one with my name on it-- cool.

I have always loved red. I had a 94 amigo red I even went as far as to have the 3rd brake light and plate cover painted red. My wife also loved it. Never saw a better looking amigo in RI. After seeing the VX at the dealer when they 1st came out I decided to have my interior done the way the VX was. Then when I found my VX at a dealer who was trying to sell me something that I had already read about and more than he did. after settling on the price I was hooked on silver since red was never offered on the VX. But I am seriously thinking about changing it to red.
