I would love a copy of that too if anyone has it...

On a side note I got a bunch of magazine back issues (Autoweek, Car and Driver, Road & Track) with articles of the VX for my VX obsession collection.

Fast Shipping too:

Is that the video where they drive it through the little mudpit and whatnot? If it is I saw that when I was 17 and told my buddy that I will own one of those someday! And now the dream is fulfilled! If you find that video I really, really, want one!

There is also this:

"Hot Cars" Hot Haulers Group 6, #19, Japan 1997-present - Isuzu VehiCross from Int'l Masters Publishers AB
CA P 9601 12 027 Pkt. 27

It is a 3-hole punched single fold card, approx. 8"x9", folds out to approx. 16". It has pics and specs for the 1998 VehiCross JDM. Pretty nice (thanks Joe!)

There were I think 10 VX's in the US at the time, and the US model was still being tweaked, so apparently there were, for example, no interior shots in the Reebok/VehiCross IronMan kits which were part of a direct-mail campaign that kicked off just as the US VehiCross was completed. This generated 500 sales commitments to buyers who had not even seen a VehiCross yet, and NONE of them changed their minds upon delivery. The die-cut brochure is more complete as the US model was finalized by then.

Hey David,

I actually list that thing in my first post (the “Hot Cars” by International Masters Publishers, Group 6 Number 19. 4-page 3-hole punched “Isuzu Vehi-CROSS.. sports off-roader” ). There were a bunch offered by someone on eBay last year for about $5 or so.

I know about the Reebok/Ironman/Isuzu promotion and the pre-production promotion - just don't have the guts of each so I didn't list it. It's cool - wish we could get some examples.

All I've got is the brochure itself for the pre-release promo (this was the round-ended brochure developed by The Designory). Seems they sent out 1800 in the promotion with 500 responses that actually pre-ordered. The company printed an additional 15000 for distribution to Isuzu dealers, so this is indeed the rarest of the US brochures.

The promotion also included a vellum letter and envelope which I don't have. The reward for pre-ordering was the print mentioned previously (I don't have that either).

Some of this stuff is hard to run down. Here's an image:

There is also an Isuzu service newletter that has a picture on the front that is from the VX run in Moab a couple of years ago. It shows Scott's (WSG) Proton in the foreground.

I'll do a little searching for the poster sets and postcards. I think the best thing is if anyone is interested and should I find them, go ahead and PM me. I can keep track better from there.
