Did you see the latest Extreme 4x4 episode? They're building up a two thousand dollar 2003(ish) grand Cherokee as an overland ride and have already purchased an overland trailer. Pretty cool. I wish we had more scenic areas around here to go and hide out for a couple days, but West TN is short on scenic vistas... I need to move to East TN...

Yep, DVR'd! That trailer is sweet...but they cost nearly as much (if not more) than the cherokee they are building!

Overlanding is what I use my VX for, it's pretty much just fancy car camping with mild offroading. Self sustainable vehicle travel is pretty much the best thing, get a roof top tent and a 12v fridge and you're pretty much set :)
